Our impact in action

At Checkmate Fire, our impact is not measured in the number of projects we complete, but in the confidence we leave behind. Our work may happen behind walls and above ceilings, but its impact is felt by building users every day.

Each survey, fire strategy, remediation programme, and compliance report ultimately contributes to safer buildings and greater peace of mind for those who rely on them. From hospitals and hotels to schools, residential developments, and workplaces, we help those responsible for fire safety become informed. We create environments where fire safety is not assumed – it is understood, evidenced, and maintained for the long-term use of the building.

  • 2000+
buildings maintained annually across a vast range of sectors.
  • 5906
trees planted – one for each fire door we have fully replaced – and 856t CO₂e offset.
  • 60%
of all fire door projects in the last five years remediated, rather than installing new fire doors.
  • 300+
specialist personnel dedicated to every area of fire protection expertise.
