We’re looking for an experienced and competent Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer to join our established engineering team, providing field support across our existing and growing customer base.

Working independently and as part of a wider team, you’ll carry out reactive and planned maintenance, small installations, commissioning and site surveys across a range of life safety and security systems.

Procurement at Checkmate is about much more than placing purchase orders. You’ll work closely with suppliers and colleagues across operations, site delivery, contract support, commercial and finance to secure the best possible value for the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly, on time, and within budget while maintaining the high standards our clients expect.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated site manager with a strong background in passive fire protection and proven experience working within social housing environments. This is a key role responsible for overseeing fire safety upgrade projects, ensuring full compliance with regulations, and delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
